A LITTLE ABOUT ME

There are many ways to understand our minds.

I am a clinical psychologist with a deep interest in the neurobiological aspects of how we learn to relate, respond and interact with those around us. I try to help people understand how their early experiences create templates and patterns of relating, how that influences how they feel now, and how these patterns can be changed. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Dialectic Behavioural Therapy, and use aspects of each of these in therapy.

I am also interested in Neurodevelopmental (ASD, ADHD) and Neurocognitive (memory, attention, language processing) disorders which can have a huge impact on how people experience the world. I am able to assess and advise on such issues.

As well as individual therapy we offer a comprehensive training service, able to train staff groups in wellbeing practice, managing specific disorders (anxiety, depression, personality disorder) and formulation.

In addition we offer formal supervision for all Applied Psychologists, including clinical and counselling psychologists, Clinical Associates, CBT therapists and staff using psychological interventions in their everyday practice. We can offer individual and group supervision.

Therapy, assessments and supervision can be provided in person or online.
